JANE SHEWMAKER HALE
"WHY BE LESS WHEN YOU CAN BE MORE"
"Beautiful, classy, consistent, colorful, appears to be everywhere - starting with a tribute to carrying Olympic torch and continuing with a wide variety of effects, the firework is also very impressive."
These words appear on the fireworks box called "The Firecracker Lady," which is named after Jane Hale. The description of the shell sums up the woman herself. She was best described in an American Profile magazine article written by Vicki Cox (June 24, 2001 issue) as "The Firecracker Lady, a 19-shell display that streaks, swirls, and sparkles every direction across the night.
Much like the woman it's named for."
